The Girl with the Lower Back tattoo is the [AMAZING] writing debut of [also AMAZING] Amy Schumer. This book is about and by my most favorite person in the entire planet and it turned to be awesome. It is a collection of well-written essays narrated with unfaltering honesty and humor coming from a person who, in her own words, is a "brave-ass chick". This book takes us through the life of Amy and how she perceived it as a person.

The essays in the book range from 'An Open Letter to Vagina', 'Times It's Okay for a Man to Not Make a Woman Come During Sex' and 'Rider for the Funeral of Amy Schumer'. Amy tells her about her experiences as a child with divorced parents, her relationship with her parents, friends and boyfriend(s!), a stand-up comedian, actress, waitress, pedicab driver, one-night stand and a lot more. This book has a collection of her private photographs that allow the reader to experience what she experienced. As I also used the audiobook, I could feel the emotions that Amy was feeling, perfectly.

Just through the course of about 320 pages, Amy is successful in her attempt to make the reader laugh until they need to wipe tears off, ugly-cry and feel a lot of other emotions... She also manages to talk about a lot of delicate issues with absolute ease and perfection, like Gun-Violence and Domestic Abuse. As a person who has been following Amy for a really significant time, I expected a LOT from this book and she was not only able to reach that level of expectation, but also surpass it flawlessly. This book also contains some hilarious lists of things like what we don't know about her, what makes her insanely furious and what makes her happy. Basically, this is a guide to know an amazing person that is Amy Schumer.

CONCLUSION: Amy's wit, sarcasm and her perception of the universe is unique and without a doubt - notable. This makes the book a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED title for anyone who is comfortable reading about Amy's vagina. Just kidding. There is a reason why this book has been on the New York Times Bestseller List for the time it has.
